Welcome to the 10th RAF Kirknewton Reunion


This is your itinerary for the scheduled events


Wednesday, September 21

Registration will be in the Hospitality Room at Box Car Willie Inn ($49/night)

There will be a “self serve” bar available from 5 pm to closing. You are welcome to “BYOB”.

The Hospitality Room will be available everyday for our event.


Thursday, September 22

Luncheon River Cruise - 11:45 am to 1:15 pm ($38/each)

Enjoy a delicious lunch while cruising on the Lake Queen, a nostalgic replica paddlewheel boat, for a 1-1/2 hour trip on Lake Taneycomo. After the cruise, time will be available to visit the many shops of the waterfront.

Bus will board at 10:45 am in front of the Inn and will board at 2:45 pm for the return to Box Car Willie Inn.

(Gratuity to the driver is not included)


Friday, September 23

Dolly Parton’s Dixie Stampede Dinner - 4:15 pm to 7 pm ($52/each)

Prepare yourself for an evening of great food and terrific entertainment. Start with a 50 minute pre-dinner show in the Carriage Room. Then on your way to the Main Arena, tour the stables to see up close and personal, Quarter Hourses, Palomino, Applaloosa and Paint horse breeds. Then enjoy a four course southern meal while watching a friendly North and South competition, amazing stunt riders, spectacular special effects and phenomenal musical productions.

Bus will board at 3:45 pm in front of the Inn and will board after the show for the return to Box Car Willie Inn. (Gratuity to the driver is not included)


Saturday, September 24

Stone Hill Winery Tour - 9 am to 10:30 am ($12/each)

This event will allow you to tour a local winery and sample their award winning wines and juices. In addition, you will be able to purchase bottles of wine with the RAF Kirknewton USAFSS logo laser engraved on each bottle. If you wish, you can also purchased wine glasses with the same logo engraved.

Bus will board at 8:30 am in front of the Inn and will board after the tour at 11 am for the return to Box Car Willie Inn. (Gratuity to the driver is not included)



Saturday, September 24

Banquet - 5 pm to ……? ($38/each)

In the Box Car Willie Inn hospitality room

Cocktails: 5 pm till 6 pm - “self serve bar”

Opening Ceremonies: 6 pm till 6:30 pm

Dinner: 6:30 pm till …….

There will be music for dancing after the dinner.

 



Friday, September 23

1st RAF Kirknewton Golf Tournament - 8 am to approx: 12 pm ($ Unk)

(Tournament will only be played if at least 8 golfers can commit to play…the more the merrier)

This tournament will be held at the beautiful Thousand Hills Golf Course. An 18 hole course with Zoysia fairways, Bentgrass greens and fescue roughs which plays to a par 64, 5,166 yards. The tournament is open to any RAF Kirknewton member and/or their spouse, son(s) and/or daughter(s). We will use a Callaway Handicap Table that will level the playing field between the good golfer to the weekend hacker.

Bus will board at 7 am in front of the Inn and will board after the tournament for the return to Box Car Willie Inn. (Gratuity to the driver is not included)
